Boxing Promoter — Owner of Country Box, "Where Music Meets Boxing"
Jimmy Adams is a longtime Tennessee boxing promoter and the owner of Country Box — the Nashville fight series where music meets boxing.
A protégé of Hall of Fame promoter Don King for 50 years, Jimmy came up as a boxing manager. His first fighter was heavyweight legend Earnie Shavers, and he went on to guide Oliver McCall, Greg Page, Tony Tucker, Riddick Bowe, and more — 9 world champions out of 17 fighters managed.
In 1997 he promoted 47 fights in a single year, helping make Tennessee the #2 boxing state in America. In 2023 he founded Country Box, fusing professional boxing with live country music concerts — and in 2026, Mayweather Promotions partnered with Country Box.
